Festival "Range" is aimed at returning lions worthy organ music center. Of all the cities of Lviv Ukraine has rich organ tradition - the ancient city competed with Cracow, Warsaw, Prague, Vienna, Vilnius.
At the beginning of XX century. Lviv was about 40 organs and 6 organ factories. With the revival of the city after the Second World War. The body of the church of St.. Mary Magdalene (now Lviv House of Organ and Chamber Music) is one of the best in Ukraine.
"Range" gave new impetus to the development shistsotlitnoyi history of organ music in Lviv. The festival involved Famous organists Luminaries and young performers from around the world who filigree technique and ardent emotions annually admired listeners.
